Our Story
Why Chelle Started Chelle’s Daily Dish

Chelle’s Daily Dish started with head chef Chelle. She was looking for some healthy meals on the go and couldn’t find anything Organic or that wasn’t highly processed and contained artificial ingredients. Eating out had become difficult because her gut was never happy, feeling bloated and awful after most meals. She started researching food quality, additives, and how to eat for longevity. The answers were all the same; stick to whole foods and minimal to zero processed food. She also found that if she used Italian flour, she no longer had any sensitivity issues with Gluten.
As she learned more about ingredients and how many shortcuts exist in prepared foods, she knew she wanted to do things differently. She wanted to create meals people could trust and feel good afterwards—meals made from whole foods, clean ingredients, and honest preparation.
So she went to work in her own kitchen. With this new information, she started to create meals using these standards and noticed that she no longer had digestive issues. Inflammation in her belly and joints disappeared and her weight went back to where it was in her 20's!
She always had a passion for food and believed it should feel good to eat and taste delicious—now she was starting to create meals that truly felt healing to her body and tasted amazing. Not rushed. Not over‑processed. Just real food, prepared with care and on-the-go goodness.
Why Ingredients Matter So Much to Us
Every ingredient we use is chosen on purpose. We prioritize organic and whole foods whenever possible because they simply make better food—better flavor, better texture, and better nourishment.
You will never find preservatives, gums, fillers, or artificial additives in our dishes. We don’t believe food needs to be engineered to last longer or look a certain way. Fresh food should be fresh because it’s made with care, not chemicals.
If we wouldn’t cook with an ingredient in our own home, we won’t use it our meals.
Doing Things the Right Way (Not the Easy Way)
We hand shred our cheese every single time. Pre‑shredded cheeses are coated in anti‑caking agents and preservatives that affect both taste and quality. Freshly shredded cheese melts better, tastes better, and stays true to what cheese is meant to be.
We simmer our own veggie and chicken broths from scratch, building real depth of flavor the way home cooks do. We make our sauces in-house, from our bright cilantro lime crema to fresh pico de gallo, because shortcuts show up on the plate.
And when a recipe calls for richness, we don’t reach for fillers or powders. We cream whole cashews ourselves to create the silky base of our homemade butter masala sauce — slow, intentional, and worth it.
These choices take more time and more effort, but they matter. And they’re non‑negotiable for us.
Thoughtful, Trusted Sourcing
Most of our ingredients are sourced from Natural Grocers, a place we trust for their commitment to quality, transparency, and clean sourcing. When fresh ingredients aren’t available and we do use canned or jarred items, each one is carefully chosen based on its ingredient list. We look for products made with whole foods, no unnecessary additives (ie. natural flavor–what is that really?), and nothing artificial. We also only choose Organic vegetables that are not treated with coatings such as Apeel.
Simple, recognizable ingredients—always.
No Plastic Packaging, Ever.
Our values don’t stop with the food itself. Another problem we found with prepared foods is the plastic packaging. And in a world filled with microplastics we choose to do better.
We do not use plastic in any of our packaging. Our packaging is compostable and plant based. This choice reflects our commitment to health, sustainability, and responsibility. Food should nourish—not come with hidden costs to your body or the environment.
More Than Just a Meal
Chelle’s Daily Dish is about trust, transparency, and care. Every dish is made the way we believe food should be cooked —thoughtfully, honestly, and with respect for the people eating it. We are grateful for every person who chooses to support a business that puts real ingredients and real effort first.
Thank you for being here and for allowing us to cook for you.
